The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Party

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing celestial beings, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the premier party of heroes who will separate from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged fight-heavy narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Seekers and Strategists parties.

Audiences can expect finding out which characters will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
